I told some of you in the NFL room just how empowering my sportsinsight's patterns are in the NBA right. Well, let's take a look at what happened tonight in the NBA.....

Chicago long before tipoff, had a 55% spread as a dog, while the line went south from +8 to + 4.5. When a dog drags the line down while accumulating more of the spread, I call it a "Pull", as in....pulling the line. These pulls, are Fvcking $money$! They (Pulls) went 4-0 in football last weekend, and 1-0 tonight! Coinsidence?.....not on your life!

The Lakers were without "Kobe" tonight, and so the Suns should have rolled them up right? I mean, the Suns had 68% of the betting community on it's side. But the line jumped from a whopping 5-8! Whoa! So how did we decipher where the wiseguys put all that dow? I know......it was on the Lakeshow! Because of my "Hidden Gem" pattern spit out a 32% spread, and a 35% ML! When the ML is greater than the spread, and the spread is no greater than 35-37%....it's telling you that their are sharps putting major dow on the ML!

Keep an open mind.....because you won't believe your own eyes!

NBA TONIGHT: 2-0-0

Since Saturday:

NCAAF:......12-3
NFL:...........2-0
NBA:..........3-0

Take a look in the NFL room under Don's "sucker bets" thread, and my thread for more insightfull info. I can't be around all the time, so I'm hoping some of you that understand this, and are familiar with my formulas, can help out. I'm not gonna be keeping score, or posting plays.....that's your jobs. But I will help out as much as I can until you guys have a firm grasp on it.

Good luck!

A question about a play. Tonight SAC is at MIN and opened at +4.5. Since have dropped a half point with 66% of spread. A half point line movement is not much. But if this line dropped more I guess it would qualify as a "pull". Do you base your units for a game on how much pull the dog has?

Quick question WallStreet as I know you have gotten a lot of them...

You said...

"When the ML is greater than the spread, and the spread is no greater than 35-37%....it's telling you that their are sharps putting major dow on the ML!"

Now does this include the ML % as well....for example tonight...you have...

ORL Magic 25% ATS & 66% ML

CHA (Climbing a bit but not quite having ML% over ATS%) 34%ATS / 33%ML

I am just wondering if the ATS% and ML% need to both be under 37%....I assume it is just the Spread % and as long as the ML% is a couple percent above then it is something to watch.

Thanks.

Wallstreet,

What are your thoughts on the Bulls-Magic gam tonight? On SI, the Bulls were the dog but now they are favorites. They also have about 76% of the spread. However, the Magic only have 24% of the spread yet 85% on the ML.

The Rockets look like a line pull.

First off, let me say I'm a HUGE Rockets fan.

When they're healthy, they're a good team. They're also a way better ROAD team, than they are home team.

But, back to this game.

Houston opened -1.5 for one day, then quickly went to pick.

For the longest, Utah was a favorite, and now today, Houston is back as the favorite at -1.5

Currently 54-48% on the spread, in Houston's favor.

Any thoughts?

WSG,
Thanks for all ther info. I know you don't want to but can you post your plays just so we can make sure we understand the system? I don't fully understand it yet and I don't want to put money down on a game if I'm missing something. Thx.

Orlando is a play according to this system...

Lakers look like a decent play according to this system as well:

Spread 35% and ML 98%

Yes, wallstreet, please do. Not forever, but just for a day or two.

I understand that you don't want to be held 'responsible,' but it would greatly help us all. It would speed up the learning process. :modemman:

I can see how the Lakers would be a play under the 'Hidden gem' system, since their ML% is higher than their SPREAD%, but I'm not sure how Orlando is a play.

They opened as favorites.

Wouldn't the play be on Chicago?

They opened as dogs, and now have 'pulled' the line.

the line for Chicago was pulled because of their 42 point win over the defending champions (in their building) last night. oddsmakers know people are going to have a knee-jerk reaction and POUND the Bulls tonight. I do think the Bulls are going to be one of the elite teams in the east but the NBA has to be played one night at a time.

the Bulls are playing their 2nd game in 2 nights and Orlando is going to have their adreniline flowing tonight.

I'm sure this system bases a 'pull' on a line move that doesn't involve the dog winning by 42 the night before and then the line moves their direction...that's based on public perception

for the nba i think i have found a few plays tonight.. please help me yall and tell me if yall also see these plays and im not doing something wrong. bulls would be a play since they "pulled" the line from +3 to -2 with 82% on the spread. and then you have the hornets as a hidden gem? with 34% on SL and 46% on ML, and another hidden gem on the lakers? with 35% on the spread and 98% on the ML. so there are three plays tonight so far? bulls, hornets and lakers?

I think the ML angle have more weight when the dog is in play.

Like last nite, the Lakers were the puppies, yet when the ML is higher than the spread it shows that more faith on them to win outright, so more strength to the play.

If on the other hand, PHO was the favorites, and IF the ML was higher that suggests PHO might not cover the backdoor, so ML was a safer bet if you played PHO. :monsters-

NO is definitely a play......isnt it?

ATS 34%
ML 46%

line dropped

hopefully we can label the three systems and the play under each....can anyone explain the 80/80 system to me that wallstreet talked about in another thread

also, is there a cap on the ml? i see la at 35% ats and 98% ml - would this be a play?
